#dredays2015 --Weeks 15 & 16

Week 15
Day 99: We're going to the zoo, zoo, zoo! Reynolds: not impressed his sister made him be the girl lion.
Day 100: She hugs hard. Happy National sibling day!
Day 101: Flying Biscuit breakfast--our favorite! And with our favorite server, Mrs. Dee!
Day 102: First Masters Sunday for these two best buds!
Day 103: Game of airplane gone bad=a mid-day shower for mama.
Day 104: I wanted today's picture to be when the front desk ladies at the dentist babysat my kids for 10 miutes in the overlap of P needing to get to a meeting and my cleaning not being finished yet, but in the relief of being done I forgot to take a picture. So, here's a wagon ride with our sweet neighbors tonight. They have so much fun together!
Day 105: Today's doctor appointment made possible by "Aunt" Hea. Thanks Hea, you're the best!
Day 105, Part 2: Lemondade Days with the Joiners! And oh my goodness, T couldn't have been happier. {And I'll have to make another post of our Lemonade Days fun because there are so many pictures.}

Week 16

 Day 106: Special delivery for the sweet girls at the dentist. Because when you volunteer to watch my kids for 10 minutes and ask me how many facials I get in a week {none!} and you want to hear about my skincare routine...you're gonna get a Starbucks!
Day 107: Teagan used to sleep until 8:30, but she's found that if she's up early enough she can see her daddy before he goes to work. So most mornings both kids are up at 6, but this morning it was 5:30 for both of them! I was very thankful when I woke up to realize that we were all able to fall back asleep for a bit-and with this sweetness beside me! The extra sleep was much needed, even if interrupted.
Day 108: Lemonade Days, round 2!
Day 109: Meeting precious Madeline Elise and hanging out with these sweet friends. Miss seeing their faces every day!
Day 110: It's a slumber party at the lake with both grandmas!
Day 111: more fun times with both grandmas before we headed home to welcome P home from New York!
Day 112: A long overdue haircut! 8 inches off.
Day 113: Food truck Thursdays with friends! {And Mammy who came in town!}

Happy 7 months!

Oh my sweet little man, we love you so much! This month was a little sleepless but full of fun and learning new things.

Size: Still big. ;) I'm not sure how much you weigh, but you are one solid little man. You're in 12 month clothes with some of your pjs being 18 month. Still in size 3 diapers.

Sleep: For some reason this month was a little more sleepless. I think it started out as me thinking that you were teething, but no teeth have popped up yet! I think you had one night waking pretty much the whole month, occasionally 2. Turns out you were also learning to crawl, so maybe that was some reason for some lost sleep. Fortunately your naps during the day weren't too affected. As soon as you turned 7 months, you were back to sleeping until 6 am.
Food: At your 6 month appointment, the doctor told us to start on some rice cereal for the iron. And you pretty much hated pureed food at first. You were used to me giving you whole foods, and I'm not sure if it was the taste or the texture but you weren't having it. You've sense gotten the hang of it and really like it. And I also started adding cinnamon to it. You looove some cinnamon. Foods you've had so far are: rice cereal with pears and cinnamon, sweet potatoes with cinnamon, bananas, melons, cucumber, zucchini, butternut squash, broccoli, and crackers.
Milestones: We have a crawler!!! You worked on it most of the month and about halfway through you started getting the hang of it. You aren't doing the alternating arm/leg moves but rather something we call the inchworm. You definitely get where you want to go though.
{unlike in this picture from the beginning of the month when you were still moving backwards and would find yourself under chairs.}

You also started sitting in the bathtub like a big boy. You were practically jumping out of your seat to join your sister so we figured it was safer to just let you. And you love it! You love being a part of the fun and splashing along.
And in the buggy too! Which promoted Teagan to the big part of the buggy, which she loves.

You also have been trying to pull up. You haven't quite pulled all the way up yet, but you sure do try. My favorite is when you crawl your way over to me and try to pull yourself into my lap. It is the sweetest!

You love to give kisses too! You'll grab my face and go in for a big kiss. I just love it!

You've also started laughing at Teagan when she is being silly. It is so fun to see you laugh at more than us tickling you. Gooooodness, do you love her! Your whole face lights up when she pays you attention and plays with you. And she loves you too!
{Side note: we had to have a full week of training for you to take a bottle for a wedding! It has been a while since you had a bottle and you were NOT having it at first. }
I I snapped this picture when I put you in the carseat and you were so upset. You were crying and Teagan started trying to give you your pacie {which you don't take at all--we don't even carry it with us anymore} while calmly singing Bless the Lord to you. Gooooodness, love. love. love. It has been our go-to song with you. Probably because it has been Teagan's favorite for a long time-even when I was pregnant with you. So, you've heard it. a lot. And it calms you down.
Someone else that is sure to make your face light up...your dad! When you see him first thing in the morning you give the cheesiest of grins!
More fun this month...
Scary mom, cute baby.

You make laundry a lot more fun!
I think this was only our second time leaving you. This time with a "real" babysitter--you know, one that isn't an adult. Trey and Carson came over and did awesome! This was in Augusta when we went to a wedding, but if we lived closer I have a feeling we'd be calling them more!
{Patrick, if you read this in time feel free to help Teagan & Reynolds me one of those cheesy coffee mugs with this picture for Mother's Day. ;)}
We die over this picture. This was right before bath time and the angle makes that baby booty look so big.

Goooooooodness, I could SQUEEEEZE you!!!
Thanks to my cousin Tamara for giving us her old double stroller! We have already gotten so much use out of it!
Open gym at the JCC
At the Lake Club...your toes touched the water and you were DONE. Too cold for you.
And right after we put sunscreen on you, and you decided it was too cold, you fell asleep in your carseat {naked}. We were going to do a bath before dinner but didn't want to wake you. So we just took you to dinner in your seat, still naked, and brought an outfit to change you into when you woke up. Buuuuut, we lost the outfit. I pretty much avoided eye contact with anyone around. But now we have funny pictures we can laugh at. ;)
And on your 7 month birthday, you came crawling around this corner to find me in the kitchen. {And since this post is almost 3 weeks late, I can go ahead and say it has been nonstop ever since!}

Monthly pics

Teagan begged to get in the crib with you, and that's when we saw all the smiles starting to come out!
blurry, but I love that you can tell that you are laughing at her!
Yes, she is clapping your head. And at this point I was telling her to stop! But then I heard you laughing, and so I changed my "stop clapping your brother's head" to...."okay, just clap it gently."
We are over the moon in love with you Reynolds Patrick McGuire! We are so thankful that God blessed our lives with yours. Because goooodness, do we love you!
